About Us

A place where dreamers go to Bloom...

Hello and welcome!

We are Bloom Creative Productions, an Independent Theatre company in Sydney!

With bravery, creativity and collaboration, we aim to Bloom in the industry and produce creatively inspired work which provides opportunities for artists and creatives.

We are slashys, often wearing many different creative and artistic hats and we wish to blur the lines of what it means to be in the "industry" and continue to work in the many roles we love.

Our debut production Into the Woods opened on March 21st 2019 and was host to many brilliant professional Aussie performers, musicians and creatives.

Since then, we have produced Bloom Masterclasses, with the likes of Luke Joslin as a tutor and have run Pop Up Dance and Drama Classes for both children and adults.

In September 2019, we developed a school incursion performance of A Midsummer Night’s Dream, loosely based on Laura's concept that came to fruition in July 2018, produced by a local theatre company.

We want everyone in the industry to positively Bloom and have many fruitful opportunities in their creative careers so that we can have an industry of the future, where we don't have to question whether it's possible or not, we will just know it will be. Part of this journey for us is diversifying what we do, and while we are in an off period from producing our own theatre work, we are continuing to connect to the industry in other ways and collaborating with other companies.

We like to think of Bloom as our Room of Requirement, a place we come when we have a creative idea that we want to explore. There is no pressure, the fire is always burning, the cogs are always turning and there is no time frame we have to meet until we want to. This allows us to explore the many roles we love in this industry.

We love working with like-minded people, so get in touch if you wanrt to

BLOOM with us!
